Default oil coming out of exhaust

a lot of oil spatter comes out of my exhaust especialy at start up, what can be the reason?

my brothers car did that too and now we have a big stain on the garage door..do you have a cat?

yeah I have a cat but I think it's dead but I doubt that's the problem

That looks like oil.

Too thick to be water.

yeah, looks like some condensation in ur exhaust. Thats why its mostly at start up.

If thats carbon with water, I belive you'd be running a little rich by those pictures. I have water coming out upon startup (i think all cars do this something to do with combustion byproducts and how the catylitic converter does something), but not dark water like that pic.

yea it looks like black carbon with water, touch it does it feel like oil? looks can be deciving.

my old motor did that. and my new one is still spitting that crap out...almost all gone tho.

i dunno what it is, friend tasted it...dunno why...but he said it had a metallic taste


still duno what it is.

here is a pic of the exhaust valves on the motor that im talking about..the vales are pure white. if that means anything

Valve seals, piston rings. one of those two if not both. Just my thought. Providing it is oil, but that is some EXTREMELY black stuff, which makes me sort of side with the carbon and condensation side of things. Unless the oil hasn't been changed in a while
