i ended up with a pair of Dunlop Formula R DO1J tires on a pair of wheels i had imported. i searched and found very little about them so i thought i'd see if anyone had used these before or had any info. with the compound and the semi-slick thread pattern they look like race or competition tires.


any info will be appreciated, although i'm not sure how popular of a tire this is/was.

A quick web search shows that they are, or were, available in Europe and Asia.

Do they have the DOT code you can use to determine their age?

There are plenty of good track tires available in the States, if you're looking for replacements...
