i just finish putting my tranny up so then i start my car but its still on the jack stands so then i start it to check if tranny is good then i feel my clutch pedal is low and then even the gears start going in without the clutch in what could this be

 

could it be cause its still in the air jackstands

 

put it on the ground and see how it feels

 

would it make a diffrence cause i just put this tranny in and to take it off again and then my pedal is lither than it use be but why would the gear be going in by them selves with out the clutch engaged im going to put it down let see what happens

 

i'd say put it down first definately and if its still odd adjust the clutch cable, i adjust mine so it has about 1-1.5" of free play in the pedal

 

i put it down and test drove it i was already thinking of taking it apart good thing i didnt but is it true i still have to break in the clutch at 500 miles first before i rev high on it i barely installed a stage 1 clutch and i dont know if i adjusted my cable too much how can i know
