Default sun roof help...It has a mind of its own!!!

well recently my sun roof has been acting like it has a mind of its own.....if i have it open, it closes by itself......started today; when i try and open it it fights back a little, like if someone was holding the close button while i hold the open to fu*k with me.....if i move the plastic piece by hand open, then it opens up easier......there is no change in speed or stregnth, opens up normally...........what the **** is going on?!?!?

Sounds like you have an over active poltergiest in your sunroof motor. Mine did it for a while in the summer but went away on its own.

try cleaning off the contacts in the sunroof switch.. if that doesnt work it could possibly be a wiring problem.
