So my car has been at the shop while my engine has been at the machine shop for a rebuild for the past month.....a couple days ago i got taillight tints and shifter bushing so i figured since the car is just sitting there ill go put them on. I walk up to my car and first thing i see is my taillight is broken, the piece underneath it is broken and the bumper has a good chip/scratch the size of a quarter on it!


I was pretty mad but the guy assured me everything will be fixed once my engine gets put back in, luckily that piece under the taillight is detachable and is not part of the quarter panel...then they would have to repaint the whole thing! I then decided just to tint one taillight just to see what its like....i like it

well ive never see a 96-00 coupe with tinted tails so i thought ill try it out. i felt it might flow with my theme for my car. ehh who cares if it doesnt then its removable!

 

how do you tint the tail lights, looks good tho

 

the body shop did that to your car? i would never take it there again

yeah, that sucks about the dent

 

eh not likin the whole taillight tinted... i've seen just the white tinted before and it looks pretty good as long as its not too dark...

nah its just a normal garage shop, they took my motor out and all that...yeah i know ive been having problems with them....when they put my motor back im going to make them do alot of other things since theyre giving problems....its a tint overlay, 20%...whatever ill try it out, its wintertime, cars can be ugly as they want haha..sucks because i used my new azenis for about 100 miles before i spun a bearing!

i used to have a 4door civic ls , and i was getting a new motor droped in when it was at the shop my cd player got jacked (the cd player was a pos, i mean it only got one channel and the cd part of it didn't work) i told the shop owner it was new and it cost me 400+, he gave me the money off the bill....i think they will think twice before jacking another car... by the way it was one of the guys at the shop..

yeah okay i understand back then but im saying recently....ha i guess tinting taillights on hondas isnt as cool as other cars

but that is ridiculous that the body shop takes that poor care of customers cars.

 

tint is gross IMO but it's your car.

 

yes it is my car and obviously i know what i like....so why is everyone coming back and talking about the tints when 20 people above them said the same thing...if i like them ill keep them, if i dont then all i do is take them off, a 60 second procedure...whatever keep telling me though, doesnt matter, but yeah hopefully i get my engine back on wednesday, he said he ordered a new outer taillight and that filler piece

 

I unlike the majority of H-T love tinted lights. Especially on a black car, those tinted tails look awesome, look being the key word. I think they look great, but its just asking for a ticket, and for someone to drive into your car. Just my $0.02

 

Who cares what everyone else thinks about the tint, You like it so do it!

I never was a fan of tinting them either but on yours since the car is black I think it fits well
