i know a good bit of the quality of products for the accord... but what kind of headers if any, cam gears, ect.. are good for the lude? who makes the best for your money?

is there anything with the h22 that you suggest i replace or upgrade before i drop it in? thanks so so much


96 accord and about to drop the 96 h22 vtec in

 

A Fidanz a flywheel and a new clutch would be good to put on before you put the motor back in. What type of mods do you need? Do you just want bolt-ons?

 

well i dont know much about the lude engine.. i know that my accord engine would of wussed out on me if i want to run hard... well i got the engine... i dont know if the bottom ends are strong? how are the stock pistons and cams? i am looking for bolt on for now.. but i am talking to someone about a turbo too.. he is going to trade his car in and i might be able to get it cheap.... how is the lude fuel system? should i upgrade fuel pump, resenator, rail?

I am going to change out the timing belt and pulleys when i get them.. should i get aftermarket pullies then? or just use the ones i will have? thanks

 

After market puliles are nice, but don't get the crank pulley. It'll ruin your engine. The bottom end and fuel system are fine for bolt on applications. I'd go with the AEM cai and a nice exhaust, N1 maybe. If you are staying NA, the SMSP header is nice and the 4-2-1 version should be out in a few months or so. VAFCs are a good upgrade as well.

 

ok thats sounds good.. i did pick up an AEM CAI the other day and i am ordering a walbro fuel pump just in case.. i get crazy and decide to go and spray a 50-70 shot... and that exhaust sounds like a good thing to get too. mine is just universal muffler..nothing fancy..

what are good plugs and wires to run on the lude?
