Default Injector Type for D16Y8

Hello, I tried searching a bit but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I'll be having my turbo on my 99 EX this spring, and the kit is on it's way to my house as we speak. I have basically limited it down to the fact that I want to get a set of DSM injectors, about 400 to 450 cc's for my setup. The thing is, I see a lot of different versions of DSM injectors such as "blue top" and so forth.

My question boils down to I'm not sure what OBD I have, I know it's 2 but is it 2a, 2b? Also, is there a specific model # for the type of injectors I want to get? Or something specific I should look for in general, I want them to fit snug right into the old injector holes and clip right into my stock harness. Sorry for the long post, just want to make sure I get things done right with the right tools to get the best performance.

You have OBD2B. It does not really matter what DSM injectors you get-either the 440s or 450s. Also, these injectors will not just plug into your factory wiring harness. You need to buy injector clips.

Thanks for the info, I'll use the H-T marketplace to search for the injectors, should I use that to get the clips as well? Or do you have a link where I could find them for a a decent price?

stan can get you the injectors and clips at a great price. don;t waste your $ on the DSMs. They are getting old and that means the older they get the more worn theya re and they tend to start leaking or stop firing the injector as well.

also what HP ranger are you lookin for? That is really what will determin what injectors you need.

if your looking for aorund 200 wheel pwoer (greddy style kit with 9-10lbs of boost) then heck the 97 prelude v-tec injectors will bolt right in and give you 310cc instead of your stocker 240cc and can run up to abotu 200-210 wheel power ok.

the coolest thing is your stocker ecu CAN support the prelude injectors or up to 310cc injectros.

wont he also need to wire up a resistor box to make the dsm injectors work because they are peak and hold not saturated.

Hmm thanks for the info there, that actually may work with the prelude injectors because my car is going to be a daily driver, adn I'm only looking to have about 7-9 pounds of boost max, cause I need a little go but mostly a reliable car still. Thanks a lot mang, I'll look into those. And that's awsome that they bolt right up.
