haing problems with my ls/vtec hatch.
Ive had my ls/vtec swap for about 8 months. I didnt drive it for a long time because i had the tranny pulled off. when i had it put back on, my car is redlining between 5000-6000. its a b18 a block with a gsr head, an an obd1 ls ecu. i have never had the right ecu for my engine since the gsr head was installed. any ideas on why my car is redlining low and not at 7000 like the ls ecu should let me?

check the dizzy first seen that be the source of a lot early rev limiter problems
