Default ITR is going to be traded in soon

I've been trying to sell my '98 ITR for several months. I haven't had any serious buyers yet. The car is going to be traded in by the end of the month. I'd really like the car to go to a good home - you just don't see 4300 mile ITR's very often.

So, if anyone is really serious about the car, please contact me soon.

I won't take deposits, etc. I need the cash by the end of the year or the car gets traded in to an Acura store for a TSX.

So you'll get like 15K$ for it at trade in, if that?

Details? Asking price and condition would sort of help matters.

Here's the original thread....

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1750893

I already have deal worked out on the trade and I'm getting more than $15K for the car. Keep in mind I will take less than my asking price for the car from a dealer due to the sales tax savings on the new car purchase.

15,000 is a high number, you will get that because of milage maybe. I would stick this out and not sell it on a trade in.

May we ask what you want for it privately?

Asking price is $18.5K.

I originally bought this car to become my daily driver, but I'm not sure I want to deal with constant threat of my car not being where I left it. I know any car can be stolen, but these cars disappear all too often.

NADA puts the high retail value at something like $13500 (even w/only 4300 miles).

I HATE this about IL state law that you don't get the sales tax credit for a private party vehicle sale.. one of the reasons I hastened my change of residency to MO.
