what should i do to a b20 as for basics? just intake, header exhuast? anything else on top of that without a big price range? NO VTEC, NO TURBO, NO JRCS, just basics and cheap affordable.. u think pulleys are worth it? or cam gears? cuz i can't afford the cam sproket(damn dohc)

If you wanted something to fix up and make fast, you shouldnt have got the crv or at least got a 5-speed then crvtec would be the only way to go. As it stands..just use the crv for whatever you bought it for. (reliable and comforatable transportation) and save up for an EG or something.

 

i know i know.. but im asking u as for a b20 in general.. not as for what to do in my car.... im not looking for speed.. im just asking what are good bolt on's.... im not looking for a racecar.. im just wondering what should a person get if he has a b20

pulley wont do anything unless your engine is built and your trying to extract that few extra HP/TQ. Cam sprocket and cam gears are the same thing. And No you dont need them cuz your not running VTEC nor are you running aftermarket/regrind cam. If you has a B20... and want have a limited budget...just stick with the basic I/H/E. And most imortantly ...get it tuned right. Thats about it.. should be fine after that.. if you dont want to get anymore extreme.

just sell your car. cheap and affordable dont go hand in hand with speed, especially on a big heavy automatic cr-v.
