It all depends on your body man, it's not hard to do. However you want to make sure it lines up perfect, I've seen a few fucked up JDM fronts before and it's beyond disgusting.

Also it depends if they decide to color match your exisiting paint (it might be dead) or respray the whole car.

Have at least expectations on spending a minimum of 3k.

Thanks for all the info guys. I thought 3K would be a close ballpark figure. I guess I'll have to have to put off the conversion till I finish building my motor. Probably wait till I can repaint the whole car win I do it. That way it'll match. Thanks.

The jdm front end is alot more and $$ work then people think it is.

1. Jdm front end (HID) $2000+
2. Installation $500-$1000
3. Body work and paint $1000+

You gotta figure they will have to paint about half the car to color match everything correctly. And the front end will have dings on all the fenders and hood.

I went through the whole jdm front end fiasco and it was really not worth it.

If you're doing the install and paint yourself, there is quite a bit of money to be saved.

Otherwise gotta pay the bucks.

Man, after reading all this it makes me think twice about doing it. I mean yeah, it looks great but I'd rather spend my $$ under the hood for now than go for the JDM bling. The thing is that the car is gonna need a paint job sooner or later & thats why I was mostly curious about the front end swap. I'd really rather do it @ once than match the front to the car just to come back later to paint the whole car over again & waist alot $$. U guys have been very helpful though! Thanks again.
