Default Accord occasionally died on freeway then took minutes to start again

The car is 95 Honda Accord LX. Lately, it's been acting weird. I was crusing on the freeway at 65 mph. My RPM was ~3,000. Suddenly, the RPM dropped all the way to zero. I floored the gas but nothing happened. RPM remained at zero and no acceleration. I had to glide the car to the shoulder. As it slowed down, power steering went away and brake paddle felt stiffer. Eventually, it stalled (i.e. all lights on the console came on as if when you turn your key to ON). I sat there trying to restart it for a while. The engine cranked but it wouldn't start. I kept doing that, and after about 5 minutes, it started back up and ran fine. A few days later, the same thing happened again. It took longer to restart but eventually did.

I had distributor cap and rotor, timing belt, air filter, spark plugs and fuel filter replaced in Jan 06. I tried replacing the coil but that didn't fix the problem. My next step is to test the coild and spark plug wires but I really don't think they're bad. Can anyone think of anything else that can go wrong? fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, etc?

First 2 things I would look into would be the main relay and ignition switch.
