Last time I did that ride with them we hit that straight a few miles outside of Idyllwild doing well over the posted limit. Of course there's a patrol car sitting half-hidden off the shoulder who's jaw dropped as 20+ power ranger looking sportbikers do a fly by. To this day I can't believe he didn't at least try to pull us over. Good times. 
Word of caution - around this time of year watch for patches of gravel littered throughout on that road!

I'm in Socal and always down for rides on the weekend. If your closer to PCH, ACH or Ojai I'm down all day long.
