I just got my buddyclub exhaust in and ...
I just got my buddyclub spec II in for my crx and this does NOT look like a 60mm exhaust. In fact the innerpipe diameter is 2in. It also seems to not have a muffler but a tip on it. Anyone care to comment on why it seems small?

Run to the hardware store *Lowes or HD I own stock in both so what ever one

get something to measure this way incase there is a problem you have a sure measurement and hopfully you just got a badmeasurement and its all good.

weird...

sorry I think you miss understood what I said, this is taking string and putting it all the way around the pipe, which doesn't give you the diameter. Can anyone confirm that the buddy club spec II for a crx is in fact 60mm?

no, i cant believe im reading this.
DIAMETER IS ACROSS THE OPENING OF THE PIPE, ID is inside, OD is outside.. When you use a string and measure around this is CIRCUMFRENCE(sp?) not diameter! Jebus people!!!
If a exhaust had 100mm OD and 50mm ID it would be a thousand pounds!

if it is 100 mm circumference then.. circumference equals pie (approx 3.14) x diameter. so... this means 100/3.14 = outer diameter of approx 31.85mm. now, this is if you wrapped the string around the pipe. 1mm = .0393700787 inch, your pipe has an outer diameter of 1.25 inch. i think you measured wrong or were sent a pea shooter. you tell me. (no i didnt know what a mm equaled off the top of my head, but google helped. i know the rest, i do it all the time in hs for these damn ASVAB (military) tests we always take)

this is not the point, I know i measured the circumference (by the way it was just a rought estimate since I knew it wasn't important anyway) and not the diameter, I already mentioned this in the post. the point of this thread was to figure out why the inner diameter of this exhaust is 2in when I thought this exhaust was suppose to be 60mm!!
hey..i got one this week also but from buddyclub usa directly..i must take out the box but i'm gonna tell you the real measurements tonight or tomorrow!!

how about you call whoever sold it to you and ask them that?

Yeah circumference is important, considering that it is directly related to the diameter. Measure again either that, or the diamter (with calipers).

the center section mid-pipe is 2 in like you said......but don't forget it's a free flow exhaust so 2 in is enough...well i think.........ordered through buddyclub usa..so.....
