Project EF, B20B Turbo, 89 Civic Si HB....56k go away
I recently bought a 89 Honda Civic w/b18a. It was done halfass and deff. needed redone. The veh. condition is mint, interior and exterior is very clean. The engine was smoking and just worn out. The old owner had drag raced the car and ran it on alot of nitrous. My plan for this car is just make it a all around street/ track car.
I been holding this project off due to plans to buy a ef crx race shell.

Big brake upgrade(won't work with 15" wheels)

Didnt i meet you up at cecil county dragway a couple of months ago?? I had a white DA, stock motor up at the track that night. I believe i talked to you about my old EF hatch i built with a b18a... I think it was you, i recognize the car.
Anyway, looks like its coming a long way. I like the nissan red wheels. What happened to the rotas?

Yup that was me..I remember running a mid 15's that night....It was so busy there that night.NE way the rota i sold to a buddy of mine..100$ luck bastard..lol

I just finished swap in my 90 ek is it possible you can help me out by emailing me alfb350@aol.com the vacuum route you have on the car. I can't really see all the vacuum hose there. I am confused on how to hook it up. I really appreicate it! Sorry to jack your thread at least I said it looks good!

I reused the header off the old b18 engine. It's starting to crack but hopefully i get the turbo set up done soon....so bye bye headers.

Man, very nice EF. I love the B20 turbo setup you're going with. I'm going to hook up a D15/Y8 mini me in my 91 EF and hopefully turbo it as well. Did you do all the work yourself or have a shop do it for you? Good luck with the build, let us all know your progress and the out come!

what are you going to do about the big brake kit? are you going to sell it and go with something not so...uhh...big?
do alot of people on here run the SSAC turbos. that looks exactly like mine that im going to run on my single but mine is a turbo creations. i bought it from a friend brand new for $150.

Your going to hate those aem big brakes, mine didnt help stop for **** and added rotational mass
Selling them was my best move ever. Other than that, project looks good

Power wise they seem the same, there's not a major difference, but this b20 is in so much better condition then the b18 that was in the car.

The vibration is not that bad, but I do have the HASPORT race mount, so they do rattle quite a bit.
