Would that be a jig for a mill or bandsaw?

I would like to get a mill just to make collectors and flanges, but decent ones are too expensive. Collectors that are milled are more accurate and consistent than ones from bandsaws.

Yeah, you and me both. This deal is for a bandsaw. I did account for the width of the blade though when making it, and the end result is pretty damn tight....certainly good enough for the few manifolds a month I make. Plus it's ten times better than the chop saw I was using. I know though, the mill is certainly the ticket.....all in due time.

BMC sells cut and uncut collectors. Uncut SS sch 10 for $50. Also these are milled and cut to form a rectangle that is really close to the T3 flange or whatever flange you specify.

Good deal in my book.

How so....the sch 10 stainless I use is 1.682 ID with 1.900 OD...that's the listed 1 1/2 inch pipe size.

It's true. Schedule 10 is 1.682" and schedule 40 is 1.610". I always use the schedule 10 just to get a little more flow area.

It is too bad they don't make a pipe size between 1 1/2" and 2" though, as the 1 1/2" is a little on the small size. I'll take the trade off on having a little less flow area and added weight for the increased thermal mass and added strength compared to tubing. For a street car anyway.

We can also do tubing just not slip fit and not a parrell style yet only splayed but weld type

I never bought anything from them, but they are local to me and they haven't been mentioned in this thread.

They make some really great stuff. And at much better prices than burns.

They are alittle cheaper (not much on single orders). I use them over Burns because they give a decent price break on quantity and there turn around seems faster. You can't go wrong with either though.

Do any of these companies sell the parallel collectors just cut and not welded for N/A header applications? Cost?

but I have to say that the burns collectors are a bit different. And they make them for your exact motor size, cam etc.

and they seem to be a bit longer than the SPD ones. less angle will give you a bit better flow.
