Well pretty much drag as well as my weekender! Lookin to get it in the 12's at the very lease, I like the fact that it is the underdog of the honda motors besides the d15 non vtec! Hp range desired is 250 - 330 if possible. Again boosted. Basically i want a cable tranny with decent acceleration! Or if the best out there is a hydro im willing to spend a bit to swap to hydro.

I was a fan of the D Si trans that was in my 91 CRX Si and I'm pretty sure that would be a good choice for your apps but listen to th capt. he knows better than I do

ty ty sir, but you are right I would agree that a Si tranny would work well.
I know somewhere on the net is a gear calc for D series, if you really want to be ****, you might want to try it out

The Si trans is nice and low, but if you really want more torque being put down on the pavement, combine the ZC gears with the Si ring and pinion! For some odd reason, they put very low gears in the ZC transmissions, but used the same R&P as the DX models. The end result was overall ratios that were almost the same as the Si ratios. The Si, on the other hand, had taller gears (same as in the DX!) but a shorter R&P, making for overall shorter gearing than the DX; and almost the same as the ZC.
Put the low Si R&P together with the low ZC main gears, and you get about the lowest gearing you can get!
Keep the Si 5th, because there's no way you'll use 5th in a drag race and the Si one will keep you from having to run 4500 RPMs just to keep up with freeway traffic. (Only 3500...)

It's been done a few times before. You may be able to turn up "effin motorworks" on Google or some such; they've done at least a few. They're in TX; maybe not that far from you....
Not sure how to tell which trans you have. Some people say there are different codes stamped on the outside of the trans, others say you have to put it in gear and spin the input shaft and see how much the output flanges turn...
