Anybody done a cruise control swap into 89 Civic Si HB?
I've got an 89 Civic Si HB w/manual trans. I do mucho highway drving and my foot is getting sore. Has anyone done this swap?
What I'd like to know is specifically what parts were required, what donor car (4-dr sedan, EX, etc...)
I've searched, don't tell me to search. I've seen a lot of questions, but none really answered this specifically.
Thanks in advance.

never done the swap, but the best bet would be to find an LX sedan in a junkyard and rip everything out....cable, actuator & box, switches....
mine has it stock and the driver's mount bracket has nuts welded to it that are used to secure the cable (actuator? don't know the word for it). i wonder if non cc cars had those....and the hole in the firewall for the cable??
besides that, wiring would probably be the biggest hurdle

Thanks for the info on the LX sedan... What about the steering wheel controls? Are these separate or part of the steering column? And the on/off button, wasn't this a part of the combo switch on the left side? I had an 85 Accord that had cruise and I can't remember where all the controls were located, I'm wondering if I need the steering wheel too.
