If your not racing, just get a 6pt.
Cages in street cars are very dangerous. The roll bar can cause serious injuries
when not used in conjunction with a helmet.
That said, chrome-moly will give the least weight penalty, it has to be welded with TIG(use mild steel filler rod). It is roughly 30% lighter than a mild steel cage.

Here's a shot showing just how close the main hoop is to the body, you will not find this fit any many kits.

They make an EG kit also. I got mine from Demon Tweeks in England. Best price, even with shipping.
