inside the distributor is there supposed to be a spring from the cap to the ignition module inside the cap on d series??? i know that my 95 civic has a spring inside the dizzy but the crx si doesnt have one...i wonder if it is missing...

 

It should. There is a spring and a little aluminum piece from cap to coil.

 

hmm...its gone..oh well im going to stop my autozone to pick up a cap and rotor.
