Put on my RH C2 Evo's yesterday...big problem with the rear centercaps!!!
I put my RH C2 Evo's on yesterday along with the center caps that came with them. Well today I noticed a clicking sound coming from rear wheels and finally found out the caps were loose but the bolt type thing that holds them down could not be tightned or loosened anymore. I came home really pissed off and managed to get one of the rear ones off, I found out that a few of the threads are stripped (in different places) on the bolt type thing and on the actual wheel itself. I cannot find out what could cause this; THE FRONT WHEELS ARE FINE!!!!! I AM SO DAMN MAD AND ABOUT TO KILL SOMEONE!!!
take em back, they are still under warranty..(unless you stripped the cap somehow, i dont see how you could have.)
The thing about taking them back is that I got the last set in stock (I'd have to wait atleast 45 days because of backorder). I also ordered them from a place called Speed and Style which is located in Miami, FL....I'm located in Columbus, OH.

Go buy a metric tap and die set. I got a Craftsman set from Sears, and I've used it so many times to make new threads or repair damaged threads. It has saved many stock bolts and holes on my car and saved me alot of trouble that would have come if I had to replace all that stuff. You can get a whole set of many different metric taps and dies for about $25-$30.

Forgot to say that I went to the tire store today and they had to use a big *** wrench to get the other rear centercap off...they had to really mess it up to get it off so I'm gonna be needing to order some new centercaps. I'm so mad still, it's all I can think about!

Oh, one of those huge hex-style threaded caps.... I thought it was a cap w/ like a small screw holding it on. Guess you're going to have to replace the wheels.
