that's what i've heard =P. it's not pure copper but if u heat it enough i'm sure the impurities would be separated or burned off.

Theres almost no copper in pennies, its only a shell. Who ever doesnt believe that, I can completely remove the internal metal and leave a penny as just a thin, light, and easily flakeable/crushable shell. Its Called Basic Chemistry. holler.
