Default Do i need an o2 sensor with hondata s100?

I have had mixed answers on this one... I got this header for free and it has no hole for an o2 sensor. I want to throw it on but i dont want any CEL's. First i went to go see if my setup even reads from o2 or if its bypassed, but my o2 plug is melted to ****. Literally, theres only like half of it left and its all one piece of fused melted plastic, but its reasonable to believe that the connections could still be made to allow it to function.

Next, i called the shop that chipped my ECU. The guy who did it said that hondata can be either way, bypassing the o2 or not. I would think its bypassed seeing as i only get 220 miles to a tank, but thats why i want someone who knows alot about hondata to verify if he gave me correct info.
