You're entitled to your opinion...but Ebay ones and DIY painted oem ones work just fine for me.
Remember...if you get in a fender bender, insurance wont cover your bling'd out 700 dollar bullshit headlights. Not to mention if they get stolen...

u can alwayz drill a hole for the city lights also

Well, in order to do the DIY painting on the stock lights, you can put them in the oven (seriously) to melt the glue in order to take the front casing off of the headlight. Once your inside it, im sure you can remove the reflector somehow.
Im not sure where, but there's a few articles on how to properly do this. So yeah..i'd say its possible. Good luck if you're planning on doing this as MANY other people have successfully done it so i'd be pretty confident if I were you.

looks like he opted to keep the reflectors though. But it looks like it's removable during the process. Looks better with them imo and probably keeps it legal especially for us cali people.
