Default civic speaker install

Would I have to remove the entire door panel to replace my front speakers, or can I just remove the lower part or grill?

The year of the car would be helpful...

Im not sure about the EG's....

But in a 96-00 you just pop off the cover and you're good to go.

Same w/ 92-95.

Though I take the whole panel off.

It's easier, b/c my speaker holes didn't line up. So I bolted it to the bracket and bolted the bracket back in, but it needed to come out...I think.

I don't know, but I took the whole panel off...it's like 2 ******* screws...

Makes sense. And sometimes aftermarket speakers have deep baskets/magnets that require some modification to the panel/door...and like you said, it only takes like a full minute to take it off anyways but sometimes the window cranks can be a pain in the *** to get off. Damn C clips.
