Default P30's to raise compression

My current motor is a JDM ITR motor.

According to http://www.zealautowerks.com/ my compression is ~11.3 (although, all published data says a JDM B18c(R) is 11.1.

That same calculator says that P30's would drop comprssion a little. I was under the impression it would raise it to 11.5-11.7ish.

Can anyone shed some light for me.

Thanks!

BTW, I have no interest in hearing about PCT's and I know there is a thread in the archives about them. The info about P30's is pretty vague from that thread.

the p30 does have a higher dome but a lower compression hight than the p73 so compression should stay about the same, someone correct me if i am wrong...

So, if I HAVE to change pistons p30's should fit fine with no problems? Even if they are same compression, they are a tad lighter.

i believe the p30's still raise the compression more than the itr's. the amount depends on the head and milling.

they will fit fine on the itr rods. and your better off using the wrist pins that went with the p30 pistons
