///////////F20b block w/ H22a head? Will this work, or be usefull in turbo set-up?\\\\\\\\\\\\
From what I found on search, the F20b blocks dont have the same reinforced cylinder walls as the H22's. Reason being, I was thinking the block would be able to hold greater PSI with a turbo.
With that said:
- Would a F20b block fit with a H22a head?
- As well as a H22 LSD tranny?
Also found in research, some mentioned boring out the block and putting in RSX pistons. Would they be worth it or should one go with an aftermarket piston set?
With all that said, my plans were to have a boosted motor (f20b block, h22a head, h22a lsd tranny).
Any info is appreciated!

what would be the advantage of doing the f20 block over the f22 or f23 blocks with more displacement?
im no accord junkie, but i know the h22 and the f20b are nearly the same w/ a few exceptions. isnt f22, f23 sohc anyways?
yea but you are only using the block anyway right? plus they are cheaper and easier to find.

F22 or F23 blocks with H22 or H23 heads is becoming a pretty common thing nowadays. There have been quite a few lengthy threads about it.

Hate to bring this back but found out the F20B heads have 1mm smaller valves than the H22 head so a h22 head would be the equivelant as a F20B with 1mm oversized valves.
So h22 head with 1mm oversized valves would be 2mm bigger valves then the F20B.

The F20 has a 2mm smaller bore and slightly shorter stroke. And as mentioned above, H22 heads and transmissions will swap over. And if anyone is interested I have a F20B for sale with a 92' Lude trans that has a brand new ACT street/strip clutch and freshly turned flywheel. Valves need relapped and valve seals(which come with it) Complete intake manifold setup and I had a bottom mount turbo manifold from a different project that I hung on there but the engine was never boosted. Bought it from my friend Rob at Hasport. Selling my Accord and have no need for this set up any more especially since I bought a GS400 Lexus. $900 obo 602-791-3721 (sorry for the slight thread jack but thought you or someone might want this)
Don't be trying to sell my motor there guy. I got dibs on that and will be sending you money soon.
Oh it's you! it said NM not TX so it threw me off. I should get a quote on that shipping tomorrow if I think about it. You should send me your address. And no hard feelings, I just need this thing out of my garage or need more space! I guess I should buy a difefrent house with rv gates this time! lol that's like inviting a honda junk yard
