Default ///////////F20b block w/ H22a head? Will this work, or be usefull in turbo set-up?\\\\\\\\\\\\

From what I found on search, the F20b blocks dont have the same reinforced cylinder walls as the H22's. Reason being, I was thinking the block would be able to hold greater PSI with a turbo.

With that said:
- Would a F20b block fit with a H22a head?
- As well as a H22 LSD tranny?

Also found in research, some mentioned boring out the block and putting in RSX pistons. Would they be worth it or should one go with an aftermarket piston set?

With all that said, my plans were to have a boosted motor (f20b block, h22a head, h22a lsd tranny).

Any info is appreciated!

I thought the F20B used an H22A head.

some f20b are dohc without vtec I know you need to block off some oil ports on other F-series blocks.

im not sure if your f20b block has all the same oil drains as the h22 block, uf it doesn't you need to block off 2 of the oil drains in the head. all my pics are down in my thread that was posted above, dns is all screwy

heads are the same...exactly the same if they are h22 heads...the non vtec ones i believe came with the 2 missing drains on the timing side.
