cheap wheel mount/balance in SoCal?
Hi I need a good cheap place to mount my wheels and align my car. Anyone know of a good place that's cheap in the Long Beach, Cason, Cerritos, Paramount area?
Thanks!
I've heard of people charging $20 for mounting and balancing at those little shops.
A good alignment shop would be great too.
Thanks!

Yes, little shops can be pricey. Many independent mechanics in my immediate vicinity are charging as much as $25-30 or more per tire! $10-20 per tire is reasonable IMHO.
I've had very good experiences with mounting/balancing at several different Wal-Mart stores here in the Midwest. They charge $8/tire for street tires brought in (plus $1.75 if you have them replace the valve stem), and a little more for "specialty tires" (I think that means track tires).

The Costco and Sam's Club in my area only mount and balance tires that are purchased there.
