$200?
i know your budget is $200 , but if i was you i would save the extra 400-500 and put together a turbo kit for the most hp for your buck you will need
-any turbo off audi, vw, volvo, mitsubishi ect. (look @ junk yards) "you will also want to have it rebuilt or make sure there is very lil slack in turbo"
-turbo header
-450 or bigger injectors (eclipse or any big liter turbo gas car)
-if turbo does not have internal waste gate then use external waste gate <better
-plumbing can be made with exhaust tubing and manuel pipe bender
-intercooler
-someone to chip your stock computer (for greater Fuel)
-custom plate for turbo - manifold (any machinist)
-B.O.V. can also be used off one of the cars above.
if i left anything out (which i don't think i did, this all the basics) post it.

That's really not a good idea. I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm not sure I'd be 100% confident I'd be able to build a quality turbo setup for 400-500$.
Your idea of tuning is to have "someone to chip your stock computer (for greater Fuel)". Again, probably not a great idea to be running a base map on some shitty junkyard turbo setup.

For $200 you are not going to be able make a good deal of hp. To be honest with you even if you bought an intake and exhaust for around 500-700 total it would not be mind blowing hp gains. My advice to you would be to get a good tune-up, valve adjustment, etc.
true... intake exaust and header's gonna give you a little power but it's not going to be a great deal... Working on car's is an expensive hobby... you gotta save up a couple thousand dollars to be able to fully "play" with your car. You can do it little by little... but to do a h22 swap it's around 1500 dollars err so... it's not cheap... everyone around here usually turbos their car and I think it's cheaper to go that route but then you have to get your car tuned n stuff for it to run properly. Tunings not cheap n not jus ne place can tune a car.

ok so if i want to "play" with my car, should i just save up for a new engine altogether? than save up for turbo on that? my engine only has 127k on it so i know it will last a while longer but, a better engine is what i want. which engine works best with turbo? i like the look of the 94 accord so i know i want to keep that body.
Trust and believe it is possible. I don't know how possible it for this guy (No offense) but all i can say is what i have done from experience and this is one of them. IT IS POSSIBLE I HAVE HAD THE SAME KIT FOR TWO YEARS RUNNING GOOD ON 8lbs Boost
khunt0012: You say shitty junkyard setup when i bet your @ss has the F#ckin money to go buy a $3500 kit sorry dude not all people have the money for a good set up , hey kewlmonkey If you want a kit that will take a lil time and shoppin around get a homeade kit its practicly the same thing. besides i doubt your trying to be Rickey Racer.
Also A good idea NOS but it wears on your motor b/c its alot more violent.

well if you plan on engine swapping or turboing later and you are dead set on spending your money.. why not work on a different aspect of your car.. suspension maybe? i dunno man, now that i think of it, everything gets pretty expensive. id save it.
and blow the motor? good game.... if i were you (host)... i would keep my car for a few more year untill the car engine about to go out.. and then ill start on thinking of swapping by that time i would got a job and saved up money... so i recommend u do the same.. 200 get you no where.. not trying to say any sh*t but that what i would do.
and i have a honda accord se with 110.xxx

Easy there Ronnie Ramjet. I jsut said it's not a great idea. But for the sake of not getting into a bitchfest with you I'll just pretend like you're right and I'm wrong.

Seriously, a good tune up will help a long ways. I bet you at the age of 12 years, your not very close to stock HP. I'm kinda in the same position, with being broke and all and I've been doing as much as I can to restore the car back to stock. It will never be but I can improve it, and I bet you can gain a good amount of HP. Start by cleaning out valves and the throttle body.. etc. Also maybe run some seafoam through your engine to clean out all that damn carbon build up you have. Be careful not to add to much though as it can dry gaskets and sometimes cause leaks where carbon buildup has been sealing them.
Also distributor rotor and cap, spark plug wires and new spark plugs. PCV Valve is also real easy to change.
I'm about to add some seafoam, and I wonder what the results will be..

yeah i think i will just do a tune up and save up until my engine is about to die. im not sure nos would help me much now saying as it would probably destroy my engine in its current state, but maybe some day i will have a really nice accord...
just drive your car the way it is, and save up..
it is possiable to put together a junk yard turbo and I have one myself. but It'll cost a little more than $500. yeah if you think about it $100 for junk yard turbo, $25 for junk yard bov, My intercooler front mount $40 used, intercooler pipping and coupling I went on ebay cost me $150, DSM 450cc $50, $60 for a company to clean it and made sure it was in tip top shape, $15 for a chipped ECU kit which I chipped and loaded a basemap myself, $15 ebay boost gauge, $30 oil line did all the feed and drain myself, the bitchy part was paying someone to do my downpipe which cost about $150 at a muffler shop but to sum it up, after all was said and done, it ran me alittle over $800 to get it running right

k/n filter, swisschease the bottom of you stock intake box, piggyback ecu, like emanage...can get used for 150ish...u might gain 3-4 whp, lol...and u'd be within $200 range.....or just save for something nice like a turbo kit, just dont skimp, or u'll regret it later
I've always thought that suspension is a great first mod.
You can get shocks/springs for around $500 installed. If I were you, I would save up some more $ and go that route first.

200 bucks is crumbs if your lookin for tourque, unless you wanna a cold air intake. Anyway save your cash get a nice turbo or do a swap the world is yours you can do as YOU WISH. In the meantime if you wanna get back to stock HP i'd suggest you take apart your throttle body, intake manifold and clean 'em which is what i'll be doing in the week or so. To be more specific i went to the junkyard got me an intake manifold and throttle body took them to a machine shop and had them cleaned so now i'll have them ready and waiting while i'm removing the ones in my car, only reason i did it that way i didn't feel safe runin seafoam to remove carbon buildup i wanted to tackle the problem head on. Last but not least if you do decide to take the route i'm goin' should not cost you that much for an intake manifold, i got mine for 30 dollars.
Good luck and enjoy your honda

Yah I don't get it either but apparently I'm a moron...or just not cheap, either way. Even when I only had 200$ to spend on my car, you know what I did? I saved it so that I could actually do something decent with it rather then wasting it on some shitty 200$ mod that will get you next to no HP or TQ.
