Default Selling my baby, need help with " what to get"

Hello all,
I'm thinking about selling my Si..
My GF is moving in, and i'm not making enough money to keep this $20K car.
I do love it, but we have to accept when we're poor.
I'm thinking about trading it in for a $10K car, or less...
I paid almost $25k for my si
(Fog Lights, LoJack, RoadBlock-Autobhnd, Splash Guards, Aero Kit and Interior protection).
I own about $18-19,500..
1- How much do you guys think that I can get for this Si? It has now 9.000 miles on it.
2- What choices do I have .. I mean, I want to get something 2000+, for less than $10K any help is appreciated.
Thanks

PS: I'm paying $450 loan + $200 insurance + $100 gas / month.. that's $750 (2week paycheck )

I'm looking for a 4d or SUV around $10K
Honda, Subaru, Acura, Nissan, Lexus and Toyota
anything above ^^^^
any help?

Im thinking a very slightly used TC could be had for that much. (tho, dont ask me, I sold mine with 8k on it for 500 less than i paid for it new ;p)

If you really wanna bite the bullet, the yaris sedan gets damn impressive mpg cuz it weighs like 2300 lbs

I was paying 206$/mo for my elantra in 04 when the 04s just came out =P

You could get a v6 tiburon new for about 15k

... dont get a SUV if money is your ocncern, get something that gets 30mpg +

first off... i drive 50 miles a day and only spend 20ish bucks a week on gas... do you ride around in 4th gear?

Second, color and other descriptions might get it sold on here you know.

pick up a used ep3 civic si

more room, lower octane required
AND you'll get LESS reamed on a trade since its easier for the stealership to sling warranty/service on your si.

ep hatchs can be found VERY cheap and should fit your budget well.

Sure its not as fast as the fg2 BUT i loved mine regardless.
Great daily

wow... i really dont believe u.. regardless of what gear you say you stay on.. with these gas prices today it takes 30 bucs to fill the civic(highest grade).. and that only last abou 3-4 days driving 50 miles a day..

Yeah I definitely spend between $150 and $200 a month on gas. I get about 27/28 miles a gallon and only vtec occassionally. I put 70 miles on my car a day, its already at 8500 and I've owned it 3.5 months

an fg1 would be nice but his budget is about 10k

an ep3 for that price would be sweet

but he's lookin for a 4 door or SUV.

Get a 96-00 civic 4 door. They're plentiful, price range about 5-8k, great on gas, and if you don't modify it thieves won't bother you

If you have to go used, deff stick with honda or acura. If you still want a sportier car - go with 00-05 civic SI (yeah I know they are two different gens.) or even the 00-01' integra GSR. If you want to go w/ good fuel economy but still loaded and SAFE - go with LS integra or EX civic. IMO
