Default breather filter

is there any advantage in putting a breather filter on your motor?

Are you referring to the ricer Autozone filters to go on the line from the valve cover to the intake arm? If so, not really.

yeah thats what i was wondering about. i dont really like all of those plastic hoses going to no place. I just wanted to clean it up and was wondering if it would hinder or improve anything?

Ive heard theyre pretty bad as opposed to the hose coming from the Intake pipe

people using use breather filter when they go FI, you can't really have it route back to the charge pipe. plus the crank will vent out air with some oily vapor, so people try to avoid that by not connect it to the intake pipe.

notice there's a PVC and VC vent tubes, just leave it in if you have a stock car/mildy modified car.

Forced Induction.....turbo, supercharger, or nitrous.
