96 accord heater staying on!!! HELPPPPP
my friend has a 96 honda accord.. and the heater stays on with no keys in the igniton, any idea what would cause this problem or a way to determine the problem?
The heater blower motor grounds through the switch, so somewhere between the blower motor and the switch there is a ground path. point to Point wire check is the only answer I can come up with.
Any recent work done to the car?

nope, it does have a turbo h22 setup though so there mite be something goin on under there... i didnt do any of it so i have no idea what kinda trouble there mite be... yea im getting a wiring print out from honda today hopefully that will help me out, just figured i would post on here incase it could of been caused by a bad relay ... but guess not!!
There should be NO power at fuse 8 when the key is shut off. So you'll have to figure out why that is letting the relay energize.
Pull the relay and listen for it to click when power is removed/applied, could be stuck/fused contacts.
Maybe some MONKEY was working around the underhood fuse box and jumpered power to the circuit?
