If it's car-like gauges you are interested in, check out the Goldwing's.

Maybe it is on topic.

If you were to tell us what you're going to do we could probably give you a better answer than soome loosely based manufacturer wide, listless, stupid picture comparo.

And no, they don't all work the same. Not between manufacturers, and not between bikes.

Radial tachometer makes it hard to read at a glance. Style-wise, it looks good. Functionally, blegh.

The only thing I didn't like on the 05 ZX6R was the tach.

i liked the RC51 tachometer. I thought it was good looking, but i hated that you had to press a button to switch between odo, trip, and temp. I wouldn't like to see at least two of those at once. I liked my F4i guage cluster, except for the fact that the clutch cable cut in front of the speedo.
Now i'm kinda partial to my SV650s cluster. Very centered and shows me everything i need to see.
The only cluster i've seen so far that really didn't do anything for my was my friend's 2001 Mille cluster. That thing was plain and gross. And it lit up green.

I like my RC's cluster too although the YZF's old school analog gauges do a great job of letting me know what i need to know.

Hell, I'd put an RC cluster in my Integra if I could figure out how to do it.

the new 600rr and 1000rr by far i think have the ugliest gauges. looks so outdated for how new the bikes are. imo i think r6 & r1 gauges are nice. but i think the new 2006+ zx-10r has the nicest gauge cluster i've seen.

with that said, i like my 636 cluster except for the LED tachometer is very laggy so sometimes i think it'll read 13k but i'm bouncing off of the rev limiter

The Aprilia gagues seemed pretty nice, bright, readable from afar and looked good. Didnt actually ride the bike, as its my friends, but they looked good.

The new Gixxer's have nice clusters as well. Once again I dont own one, but have seen em and tey are pretty nice.
