Looking to buy a 92 - 95 civic.. anything I should look out for?
Hi, I'm a nooby at hondas and I was looking into buying a civic. Are there things I should look out for on the civic? Whats a good price for a good running civic? thanks in advance for any answers.
well a good tip of advice is when going to look at a civic
dont be afraid to ask MANY questions.
for the body, check for any rust spots or signs of paint bubbling
motor-wise, ask many questions, mileage, mostly highway or street driven, how often oil changed, timing belt, brakes, tire condition etc.. etc...
and if you take it for a test drive listen for any noises in the suspension and engine noises
and once your done all your questions and find any flaws, then reason on a price

check out the rear wheel well and surrounding quarterpanel, civics get really bad cancer in that area because of a rubber trim piece holding moisture, will wear right though the body

~3 for good condition.
Watch out for rust over the rear wheel wells.
And the clusters are easy enough to change out, so carfax the VIN might be in order :-\.
