i wanted to know what the difference is between the civic ex and crx si spindles. I remember reading a topic that talks about a big brake upgrade with differnet parts from accords and preludes. but I was not sure with either the crx si or civic ex spindle?

 

90-91 EX spindle for big brake upgrades, the Si has the smaller brakes.

 

so go wit the 90-91 ex spindles. do they still use the same uca & lca? so do u know anything about the big brake upgrade?

 

90-91 civic 4dr EX (there was no EX 88-89) has the bigger brakes, identical to DA integras. the knuckle geometry is identical to the regular Si knuckle however, which makes it a better swap for the crx. but integra knuckles work fine too and have a bigger bearing also.

dont use any control arm from another car when swapping anything.

and i think vap knows a lot about the big brakes. but we'd all like for you to search in the FAQ first.
