Default First time on nitrous, fried the crap outta my plugs. Help me!

There's the thread about it for reference. I don't wanna bore you by typing the whole thing out.

Anyway, I tested the fuel soldenoid today and it is in fact working just fine. Why would my plugs have fried like that?

I used NGK 7E-11's.

Brand new fuel filter.
2 step colder plugs.
MSD window switch. (3k-6.2k)

Nitrous express jets for a 75 shot.

Maybe the 75 shot is just too much? I wouldn't think so though...

When I first saw the plugs, I was like damn! I instantly thought "I'm running lean as hell, the fuel soldenoid must not have kicked on."

But, I tested it today, and fuel is spraying. So, I have nitrous, I have fuel, I have timing retarted, I have the correct jets.

What else could it be?

Do you know how your PG9 (or whatever) ECU effects timing for the ZC?

I assume it keeps it the same. The timing was retarted at the distributor, not the ECU, so it should be the same, right?

Maybe I should try with the PM6.

Same thing happened to my on the dyno, only one of my plugs did that though. Its a very terrible feeling when you take the plug out and its all not there.

Nothing really.

I just sprayed it, it wouldn't really rev over 5000, i backed off, put the clutch in, car dies.

Then when I re-started it, ir ran like crap (due to the plugs). Put the new ones in, it runs fine. Compression test is 185 across the board.

Wait, you retarded your timing 14 degrees? WTF? I hope so, because if you advanced it 14 degrees I'm going to personally drive you where you are and smack you.

You only need 4* on Honda motors for a 75 shot.

You're obviously getting enough fuel, the plugs are black.

No, stock timing is at 16*. We retarded it from 16* to 14*. (Thus, 2* retarded.)

So you are saying that I should retard it 4 degrees instead of just 2?

those plugs are really bad... did you do a compression check? You may have melted the pistons too.
