another lca question
alright so a few days ago i was asking about lca bushing removal. well mine were frozen, so i burned the rubber and removed the middle metal cylinder thing. and whats left is that metal ring.
well you guys were talking about cutting the ring out and my question is how the expletive am i supposed to cut it out? i dont have a sawsall or whatever. and if i need one ill have to walk to go rent one.

there are a few ways but all take a good bit of time and foul language.
1st cold chisel and a big hammer to beat and cut the shell out.
2nd use a hacksaw. remove the blade pass it through the lca reattach the handle and cut through the bushing without cutting the control arm
3rd take i to a shop and pay them to remove the shell and press in the new bushing

I took mine to a shop, cost $20 for 6 bushings to be removed.
Or if you've got one of those bench vises throw it in there and put a socket on teh shell and start hammering away on it with a mallet.

alright so i got that ring out. but i have one more question. will someone standing on the drum be enough weight to get the new spring/shick over the lca and into the mount in the rear?
