Default Who do you insure your cars with? show cars, cars with tons of mods etc...

I have seen alot of guys get burned and i was looking threw some of the companies that I work with, they will write a policy on a agreed value of the vehicle. Meaning that if you have the reciepts to prove that the car is worth X amount then they will pay out on that. Wondering if anybody is intrested in that, I know that when a buddy of mine had his hatch stolen with a type r motor and multiple other things his insurance company did not even come close to what the vehicle was worth. Anybody have a bad experience?

my buddy's del sol got stolen a couple of years ago and he got screwed by the insurance company. they were accusing him of stealing the car just to get the money and buy it baxck . they wouldn't even let him buy it back.

Even if something happens in a trailer you better have insurance for it. your average auto insurance is not going to cover your "show" car being transported in a trailer, you have to get a Inland Marine policy for that... if you guys have any questions feel free to pm me or email me.

ummm and go to jail for the rest of your life. I totally know where you are coming from, But i see so many guys from boards like this and in the age bracket of 18-30 getting totally screwed on there insurance, they are totally not covered and nobody has taken the time to help them out with setting something up that covers them if something does happen, especially the guys on here with race cars, there are ways to insure it that can help if a theft does happen... Just thoughts on my part.
