Trading B series for D series!
Yes, i know it sounds crazy, but i'm trading my B16A for a D16Z6 or Y8 in good condition.
I'm looking to trade for the entire swap, meaning engine, tranny, ECU, axles, mounts, wiring harness, shift linkage, everything.
I'm looking for a D16Z6 or Y8 with relatively low miles, and stock, i need it to be reliable because it's going in my DD.
Info on the B16:
Pros:
-Fidanza 12lb. flywheel
-ACT Clutch (not sure which one)
-AEM fuel rail
-Fuel pressure regulator
-Ram air intake
-B16A2 Transmission
Cons:
-No idea how many miles are on it
-Oil leaks from the valve cover gasket and VTEC solenoid
-The VSS is out (its the wrong one), VTEC doesn't work because of it, but i think once the VSS is replaced VTEC will work.
-It loses coolant, i think the headgasket is bad
-Fast Idle Thermo valve is broken, runs like crap when you first start it up on a cold morning, but once it's warm it's fine
The motor drives fine, it's just not as strong as a B16 should be. I drive it everyday, but i just don't have the money to rebuild it like i had planned, so i'm settling for a D16 for now
I'm looking for $1,000 for the entire swap, but i'm open for trades and negotiations in the price. I'm in Lexington, SC so shipping or pickup can be arranged.

i have a z6 with all the fixins
only problem with it is a loose wrist pin otherwise it's perfect
has 70,XXX miles and has been maintained very well
compression is still great and it burns no oil
no leaks and it passed emmissions
Vtec works flawlessly and no grinds in tranny
are you wanting a d + $$ or straight up trade
im in rome,ga so i can drive up there if needed
BTW no ps or a/c
