Do they? i bought a CRX intake, but the box says 88-91 Civic... and it doesnt fit. It seems a little too long. anyone?

 

i read that it DOES fit... what do i do with the bracket that came with it?

 

it should fit, hatchs and crx's have the same engine bay

 

anyone know where to get some instructions? i thought it would be a quick job.. pop the old intake out and stick the new one in. I guess not. Whats the bracket for? do i remove the battery then re-install it when the intake is in?

 

whered you get the intake from and what kind is it? it one of those ebay ones?

 

i think they sell them on ebay... they look the same. i bought it from a shop in el monte.

 

if its the ebay one it doesnt fit any 4th gen. their actually for egs

 

Well is it a 88-91 civic/crx si intake. Or is it for the dx or lx? That might be another reason why.

i put my 89 si hb's intake onto my 91 si crx and it fit but was pretty tight fit.

 

when i bought it, the guy asked if it was for a DX or SI... i said the Si.. maybe he got confused? i got it to fit, but the hood wouldnt close because the battery was too high. i'll figure out what to do tomorrow..

 

all 88-91 civic/crx are the same. but also, the piping diameter is small too.
