Question about the fitment for the JENSEN VM9021TS on a prelude...will it fit?
Hey wussup everyone....I have a question about a JENSEN VM9021TS lcd touchscreen dvd player fitment for the 92-96 honda prelude. Hopefully everyone can help out. I wanted to purchase the dvd player but I'm not sure will it fit properly or so. For some ppl who dont know how the dvd player look like...its not the one that flips out its the one that look like the Pioneer avic_Z1. I was wonderinfg if anyone ever put that dvd player or something similar in a 92-96 prelude and do u have to do a lot of modification. Please help out....thanks a head of time everyone...I appreciate the help...

If it's a 2-DIN it will fit (or double-DIN, same thing). I've seen it done before. Your standard radio is a 1-DIN, the tray beneath it is a 1-DIN. 1+1= well you get the point.
thanks for the reply..but i have another question...wont the dvd player hit the ash tray and the cig lighter when it opens up?

How does it open? Out and up? Or out and down?

Oh it's a flip out? Then it's probably a 1-DIN unit, not it won't hit the ashtray, it might come close to your shifter though, but who cares, those are nice.
Dude, just did a search on it, and it's not a flip-out screen, like I said above it's a 2-DIN in-dash screen. It's stationary, although the screen can tilt a little, that's why it's motorized. Here's the info...

Ah, it's stationary. But how does it open so you can insert a CD/DVD? Is it a sliding tray, or just tilt a little with a slot?

your screen looks a tad wider.. you may have a problem with that width? anything can be done tho - just takes time and money (: hah.

Only time it skips on me is when the cd is scratched and stuff(usual cd or dvd player reaction when cd or dvd is scratched) ...but everything else is good to go....haven't had any problem with it...i love it

Ive test fitted the 9020ts the model before the one you want without the stoopid sequence thingy to bypass the dvd player. Anyways it fits perfectly and doesnt touch anything as it folds down.
You just have to buy a double din dash kit and you should be good to go.
