CRX rims
Hi there.
I'm a former CRX owner. A few years ago a truck pulled out in front of my '85 CRX and kind of squished the front end and the insurance wouldn't fix it.
Anyway, I bought some rims from a wrecking yard from another CRX and didn't get a chance to use them. I think it might have been from a newer CRX than mine.
Can anybody tell me by looking at this picture what years and trims they were offered on?

Thanks.

Never seen those Honda rims before. There are 2 factory rims that come on all CRXs other than steelies from the factory. The weird looking 84-87 Si rims and the 88-91 Si rims. The 88-91 Si rims look like sawblades. You will be able to know them just from the look and are also the most common of the factory CRX rims other than the steelies.
However just like they do today Honda had other rims that you could purchase for your CRX and other model Hondas between 84-87. There is a good chance that these are just ones that were an accessory from Honda that you could add to your car for more styling at the dealership.
I know that there are people on here who have the manuals scanned with the complete list of OEM Honda accessories that show what rims were available. Hopefully someone will be able to post that up for you.

those are pretty cool. I think they are optional rims from a later model civic maybe.
Can you weigh one without the tire?
Could you post the size markings on them? 14x5.5 45 or something like that should be cast on the backside of them.

They are the prelude wheels,,my neighbor has an 85 and it has those same wheels and she's had that car since new.
They're some nice looking wheels when you put a decent profile tire on them..

Those are 1985 Accord LX trim rims. They were on mine when I purchased it new from the dealer. I can't remember if my friend who owned an 85 Prelude had them, but I think I remember them on that body as well.

Thanks for the replies.
The size listed on the tire appears to be 175/70R13
Sorry the rims aren't at my house so I can't weigh them.
Yeah, I haven't seen many of these either, so if they were an option that would explain it. I did pull them off a CRX though. '86 maybe?
Well, I don't really need them anymore.
If anyone is interested, let me know.
