What oil to use?
What oil are you using?
I'm leaning toward the Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil that is guaranteed to protect your engine up to 15,000 miles or 1 year.
The owner's manual says you should change your oil when the maintenance minder tells you to or after 1 year.
After reading that, I thought Mobil 1 would be a great choice because if you don't drive your car often, you can keep the same oil in the engine for a year. Plus, Mobil 1 is one of the best oils to use.
I'm used to changing the oil every 3,000 miles or every 3 months. But I could be wasting good oil/money if I still followed that interval.
What do you think?
