fading battery light?

Default fading battery light?

it keeps fading on and off while driving. i have a 91 ef hatch the light never seems to stay completely on, but it still bothers me. i already filled up the battery and tested the alternator

u no what mine just started doing that today. and i was scaring me because as soon as i got off the freeway it started sputtering and fireballing like crazy i hope nothing is seriously wrong.

check the wiring on the alternator there might be some frayed wire somewhere..or maybe your alternator is starting to show signs..

i will go over them , when i checked my battery two of the cells were empty. do you think that a cell could have burnt out and it could be a sign to buy a new battery?
