Default 3m rubberized undercarriage

my car flooded awhile back and the carpets all gone now, i was wondering if anyone knew if this stuff would work for the inside of my car to give me like a good base for awhile until i have money for carpet, at which time i would leave this in as sound deadining stuff.

I dont see why not. As long as you're careful when you're spraying it not to get it on ANYTHING you dont want it on as I doubt its an easy clean yanno?

Other than that, you're probably right with the sound deadening effects...that may actually work.

So what exactly is this stuff? Do you need a compressor to spray it or does it come in a spray can? Expensive? I'm visualizing it as like that Rhino Liner stuff for truck beds.

The stuff comes in a spray can. It'll definatly deaden sound. I was thinking of pulling the carpet and spraying it under where front and rear floormats would be. and also under the spare tire.

you could always just spank it onto the floor.

doesn't deaden sound but it would be hardcore as expletive.

I used this in my trunk, works pretty damn good. It will add some weight, especially if you do a couple good thick coats. And yes it does work as a sound dampening. You can notice a difference with a system.

the under coat will work i hate the road noise of my car so i did a sound deadening i sanded down the entire floor of the car and first sprayed it with 3M rubberized undercoat spray i drove around for a while like that and ill tell you you will notice a sound difference not to mention your floorboards are a perfect andidate for an ant swimming pool now without the worry of rust but back to topic after that i bout this stuff online its a sound deadening foam light as anything got some spray adhesive any went to town lating it out on the ground its like dynomat but hella light and very nice to work with after i lied that i went to homedepot and got 10 lb under carpet padding and lied it on the interior completely t6hen lied down my brand new black carpet nowe i roll around and its quieter in there than before when i had a 2000 intrepid es hella quiet i lan on doin the mat and spray on the interior walls pillars and roof to get minimal road noise plus I only spent like 100 an it all excluding the new carpet for the floor and it weighs no more than 15 lbs more than stock i plan on going turbo K and Im driving a 96 Cx so at this point as my daily driver im not worried about weight since i can go like 500 lbs heavier and still weigh less than an 06 si wich has the same powerplant as i intend to install
