Default Rev limiter question

I've got a d16a6 in my 90 crx si, but i don't believe I have a rev limiter. I know i don't need to rev past it, but i've always wondered where it is. I've hit a hair under 8k on accident by missing a shift, but no limiter. Tonight, i decided to try to find it in gear, so i ran it to about 7500 but i don't think i felt anything. As far as i know the ecu is stock, and i'm not sure what the model is on the si's.

look on your ECU you should see a stamped code, P## something. That will tell you what kind of ECU it is, and also what the rev limiter should be stock.
