So i took of my intake manifold today off my gsr and there was alot of oil inside the intake ports. What would cause this?

 

Please describe your engine. Also, is it oil in both the intake manifold and intake ports?

If it is on boost then your turbo may be having seal issues.

If it is NA then it may be your PVC may need to be replaced.

 

it is n/a. it is a stock ls vtec. i got oil in the manifold and the ports. it is prolly the pcv valve now that I think of it because the valve looks pretty shitty. i will replace it and see if that is the problem

 

Also, do you have a crank case breather?
