I've been spinning like crazy on 205-50-15" bfg drag radials even with traction bars and will get wheel hop in 1st and 2nd and it just flys off the rev limiter till i get to 3rd then it pulls like crazy..

I just ordered some 225-50-15" bfg drag radials hoping to get some 1st and 2nd gear traction.. After ordering them i went to the tire calculator and they seem to be quite a bit bigger..

My car made 366hp and 243tq on 17 psi i'm having it retuned on these tires saturday for other purposes then just the tires, but i should lose something in 3rd and 4th while gaining alil traction in 1st and 2nd right or am i over thinking??

 

your motor is still producing the same power but your gearing is going to be slightly changed... feel a lil longer
the 205x50x15 BFG is a 23" teh 225 is a 23.9.....
