Default 92-95 civic ecu harness????

i am putting the d16z6 in my 88 dx crx. i refuse to have to wire it ghetto, and use an old integra ecu and have a switch for the vtec. i have sent my engine harness from the dx and from the civic to place racing in CA. they said i gave them everything they needed, explained everything correctly. except they need a ecu harness from any 92-95 civic. coupe, hatch, auto, manual, vtec, non-vtec. doesn't matter. i am using the p28 ecu for a manual tranny. i went to go get the ecu harness from the car i got the engine from. but it seemed to be like every single wire that is ran in the entire car. i mean literally every last one was all tied into the same bundle somehow. i am so confused and frustrated right now i am ready to put the damn dx back in it and say f*** it. if anybody can help me, somehow tell me that it is a small section of wires, maybe if somebody has an ecu harness they would like to sell even.......i am just scared this is going to be an expensive section of wire, and hard to find. i dont understand why they would need all the wires from the entire car when i am not re-wireing all the wires. just switching freakin engines. i do not want to use the crx Si intake manifold and distributor and all that crap.....my friends b16 was done perfect without all this hassel, i want mine to be working the same way? please somebody help.....preferably somebody that has done this swap into a dx and even used this ecu, and the complete civic engine..intake, distributor...everything.....<~ if that is you, send me an instant message on ht or on aol/Aim....GotUrMlk THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I don't have that kinda money to spend on acouple feet or wire with 6 plastic clips on it...thats outragous .... somebody help....how much of the civic ecu harness do i need? could i just get the plugs that go into the p28 ecu and about a foot of wire attached to them? Hey dude, I'm putting in a D16Y8 into my crx, and I'm going the same route as you, with the p28 ECU running OBD-I... Anyways, What I'm doing is: Making an adapter harness, following StorminMatt's instructions... he tells you exactly which wire goes where in his guide. Do a search for this and I'm sure it'll come up. Just get the plugs off of the 92-95 Civic Si (not sure if it matters, but get a manual Si anyways, just in case) and snip em' off... leave about 8 inches of wire attached. You can then repin the clips and solder the ends on to the non-OBD plugs off of your old computer (I'm not sure if the DX is different... I have an Si) Only downside is, you have to rip apart your old ecu. I used a hacksaw! Anyways, it's not too difficult, only time consuming, and it's virtually free! let me know if you have more questions, and I'll try to help you out. IM me if you can't find the instructions and I'll try and find em for you.
Peace

Oh yeah, have you already re-wired your car to run on MPFI (it's a DX, right?) If you haven't, then you need to do so... lot's of info on this one. Just search.

well if i did that then i still could just let place racing to the rest of the engine harness wiring. i have emailed two other people about it. on that was recomended on this post, he said 225 shipped for my harness i need, but wasn't sure if he meant only the ecu harnes or everything (engine, ecu etc.) and i emailed HASport but i have heard good and bad things about them. haven't heard back from them yet.

alright, nevermind folks......i finally was told by place racing that all i need is the 3 plugs that plug into the p28, and about 6-12 inches of wire still attached to it. thanks for the suggestions, the few people that gave em...
